Jon Cardin Releases First Attorney General TV Ad Highlighting Protection of Families & Civil Rights

BALTIMORE, MD – On Monday June 9, 2014, Jon Cardin, Democratic candidate for Attorney General released his first television advertisement on broadcast television in the Baltimore media market. The advertisement is entitled “Facts” and highlights Jon Cardin’s record on protecting families, women and civil rights.
The ad notes that Jon Cardin is a “national leader in the fight against internet crime” and that he led the fight to pass “Grace’s Law” against child cyberbullying noting that the bill is the toughest cyberbullying bill in the nation. The ad also alludes to Cardin’s successful fight to criminalize revenge porn stating that he “took on stalking and online sexual predators.”
Finally, the ad notes that Cardin is a “progressive leader” that fought to expand early voting and protect the rights of women and minorities, particularly in the arena of voting rights.
